PERSONAL PROFILE

Over the last 15 years I have worked as a Professional Actor, Voice Over Artist, Singer, Director and Voice Coach.

As a voice coach, actor and theatre practitioner I have developed a strong sense of how to fuse the director’s vision with the needs of the actor. Facilitating the actor to find a centred voice that expresses both the voice of the character and communicates the world of the play.

I have worked as an Accent Coach for West End productions, Repertory and touring theatre companies, Television and Radio. From working alongside the Royal Shakespeare Company’s voice coach on Jesus Christ Superstar to teaching actor Matt Zarb an Eastern European accent for Coronation Street. I have also been responsible for the Accent and Dialect programmes within many of London’s leading Drama Schools, including LAMDA, Rose Bruford, Central School and East 15.

My work as a Voice Coach has also been extremely varied. I have coached the leading actors for several of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Really Useful Group West End musical productions. Assisted a businessman in leading a TV press conference and facilitating a priest to give his first sermon.

I am a Voice Over Artist with one of the country’s foremost agencies, Talking Heads, recording numerous adverts for TV and Radio, but specialising in the highly competitive world of children’s animation.

I pass on these skills by running a Voice Over Industry course for post-graduate Media students at East 15 acting school and coaching for the Carleton Hobbs BBC Radio Competition.
